Construction engineers must develop understanding about thier profession, roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders, including international practices. They also need to acquire skills of leadership, working in team, learn about ethical practices and know about professional organizations working in the domain.
Construction engineers should be aware of contemporary issues such as globalization, sustainability, emerging technologies and must be able to perceive future of civil engineering profession.
The course will assist students in gaining the information and abilities necessary to communicate effectively in both written and spoken professional language. Use appropriate terms and processes when developing the procurement procedure, illustrate effective team building skills and contribute collaboratively across varied environments, articulate, and reflect on industry competence expectations, and eventually conduct and maintain ethics in the construction profession.
