The course introduces a wide variety of art practice leading to a varied portfolio of work suitable as preparation of art, design, and architectural studies.

The course includes: 1) Elements of Design (dot, line, shape, space, form, light, and shadow) and Principles of design (balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis and unity). 2) Understanding of color (also includes practice of water color techniques). 3) Understanding of Perspective.

In this course students will have the opportunity to develop their observational and technical skills through different media and exercises of visual art. This course will give students an understanding of different concepts in art, design and architectural studies. Through various exercises they will also develop their observational and technical skills along with understanding of colors.
